Skye was first persuaded to dance Lindy Hop by his mother in 1996, but quickly discovered his own love of social dancing, swing music and the Lindy Hop community. This led him to a wider interest in dance and he took classes in ballet, modern, and Jazz. Since 1999 he has taught wherever Lindy Hop is done- from national weekends to international dance camps. He is a founding member of some the most influential modern Lindy Hop troupes- including Minnie’s Moochers, Mad Dog, and the Silver Shadows. Skye has also won titles at all of the major Lindy Hop competitions- including ULHS, ILHC, ALHC and the World Lindy Hop Championships. This involvement with Lindy Hop sparked his wider interest in America’s history and cultural heritage- leading him to pursue American Studies at The George Washington University where he received his master’s degree in 2007. He currently resides in New York City.
Frida Segerdahl started dancing at the tender age of 5. During her teens she was enrolled in the dance program at Sturegymnasiet studying jazz, modern and ballet and much more. Since the age of 9 Frida started competing in Double Bugg and Boogie Woogie and although she was a champion at both, she hungered for more. Felix Berghall & Pamela Gaizutyte
About Felix and Pamela
Felix is a swing dance instructor, performer, choreographer based in Stockholm, Sweden. Like many other swedish dancers he started in the swedish competition scene, at the tender age of nine, with bugg as his main style. One year later he took his first basic six count step in Boogie Woogie and has since then never stopped syncopating.
He first visited Herrang Dance Camp in Sweden when he was 16... That's when he fell in love with the African American social dances of the swing era such as Lindy hop, Vernacular Jazz, Charleston and Tap. Since then, he has both tried to inspire others while learning everything he can about the dance, music and teaching of this culture. He is a strong believer in the freedom inherent to the authentic style of these dances and the connection you create with your partner and the music, he also sees swing dancing as a way to bring people together to experience happiness in their life. Why? Because when he dances that’s is all he can think about and express. Pure happiness! These days, he spends much of his time travelling the world doing his best to spread this feeling and these beliefs wherever he goes.
Humorous and dynamic, keen, full of heart and a touch of the anarchic, Pamela was spellbound by Lindy Hop energy and community at the age of sixteen when she started her first classes at Lindyhop.lt Club in Vilnius. Despite her young age Pamela has already brought herself to light constantly learning anything related to dancing, be it music, psychology or anatomy. In 2009, Pamela began working at Hoppers’ Dance Studio in her hometown of Vilnius, Lithuania. Today she dances and teaches with the top leaders in the international Lindy Hop scene. Having no constant partner has given Pamela space to bring a lot of variety to her dance - no wonder dancers call her one of the most exciting followers in recent years. As a dancer Pamela cherishes individuality and freedom. For her Lindy Hop is not as much about impeccable technique as it is about musicality and awareness. As a teacher she shares her values and encourages people to find their own way of dancing: “Learn to be ok with the way you are and how your body moves. It’s all about you.” Nietzsche once said “You need chaos in your soul to give birth to a dancing star”.
Isa & Victor
Isa and Víctor signed up for Lindy Hop lessons in the fall of 2014. Although dancing was something that never crossed their minds, the swing bug bit them both since the very begininng. Soon they became active members in their local scene in Valencia and started to attend international swing events.
They are teachers of Black Bottom Studio (Valencia) since 2016 which gives them another reason to travel in order to improve and learn as much as possible. They believe that continuous learning is the way to be able to offer their best to their students. Since 2015, they have attended more than 60 festival (and going up every month :-p)
Apart from her endless energy, Isa is well known for her everlasting smile and the passion she throws into her dance. What stands out in Víctor's dance are his team player skills. During the dance he focuses on taking care of his partner. Their energy and good vibes both in the dance floor and at their classes are contagious.

Formed in 2010 for the London Lindy Exchange and led by Trumpeter Steve Coombe, they have played numerous dance camps and shows throughout Europe. They have a passion for swing music and movement, with their extensive knowledge and experience of social dancing, they are definitely the band to dance to in 2017.

They are also influenced by the likes of the early Duke Ellington, Sidney Bechet and the old musical roots of New Orleans.
Last year alone saw them playing for dancers in Sweden, France, Hungary, Germany, The Netherlands, Denmark Spain, Norway and throughout the UK to rave reviews.
